Seashore
"The wind is good and the sea is calm, captain... shall we approach the shore?"
"No, not now...", says the captain gazing at the shore... "Not now..."
The captain casts her glance at the shore half-illuminated by twilight wondering how pleasant and surpriseful this land can be, but somehow she seems reluctant to order her crew to proceed at full-speed towards the land.
She retires to her cabin and focuses her maps and charts, calculating the best moment to take the coast by assault. And yet, her compass seems to be going round, with a wayward magnet.
"I must reach for the shore and take possession of it...", she thinks. "There's nothing there to be afraid of..."
Yet again her reluctance takes her by the wrist, clasping her impulse and pulling her backwards. "You want it, don't you? But.. this is not the right time..."
The cabin light dims as the wax of the candles melt away. "But before it's too late...", she slams the door, going out and shouting to the crew: "Unfold the sails, we are going full-speed!"
"Wait for me... your secrets are mine now... ", as the cold wind pushes the gallion forward, and whispers playing with her hair locks.
